Our Approach

We are a small but aspirational comic publisher. We have published sporadically up until this point, but we have plans to accelerate or publishing and production schedules to become a force in the independent comic book market. We have increased or staff and we are recruiting high quality talent to work on our future projects. We have talented artist like the legendary TIM VIGIL, CHRISTIAN ZANIER and ERIC ALAN NELSON and more!

Our Story

Established in 1998, Marcelo Bravo and Eric Alan Nelson have sporadically published various titles and now have maelstrom Comics poised to become a force in the comic industry with the success of Prymal: The Jungle Warrior! We here at maelstrom Comics have many future projects currently in the works and we hope that we will have the support of our faithful customers and newcomers to our titles.

Eric Alan Nelson

Publisher, Editor-In-Chief

A Native of Philadelphia, Pa, Eric Alan Nelson has a long presence in the comic book industry. Eric broke into comics along with Marcelo Bravo with 1992's Sever: The Devil's Advocate published by Boneyard Press and has since done work on various titles including AC Comic's Femforce, Maelstrom Comic's Tales of the Galactic Enforcers and Prymal: The Jungle Warrior and has done artwork for London Night Studios and Kirk Lindo's Vamperotica/Luxura.

Alberto Solano

Co-Founder, Technical Advisor

South Florida native and one of the founding members of Hardcore Studios which evolved into Maelstrom Comics. Alberto is the technical guru, writer and editor of the company. Alberto has left his mark on every Maelstrom Comics title!

TALENT

Timothy B. Vigil is an American comic book artist, mostly working in the horror/adult genre. His main graphic novel Faust (with co-creator David Quinn) was adapted by Brian Yuzna as the 2001 movie Faust: Love of the Damned.[1]

The followup Faust: Book of M, was nominated for the 1999 Bram Stoker Award for Best Illustrated Narrative. He received his first popular exposure for his work on the comic title Grips, published by the defunct publisher Silverwolf Comics.

TALENT

Eric Alan Nelson, Born in Lower Merion Township , Pennsylvania. Eric began his comic artist career with Raging Rhino Press in 1992 and has done work for London Night Studios, Hardcore Studios, Boneyard Press, Maelstrom Media Comics, AC Comics and is currently working for Maelstrom Media Comics.
